2024 BIG EAST Cross Country Championships

Three athletes from New England Colleges finished in the top three at the Big East Cross Country Championships held last weekend in Leesburg VA. Chloe Thomas from UConn took the top honors, finishing the 6K course in 19:36. Kimberley May from Providence College placed 6, while Jenna Zydanowicz (UConn) finished 9th.

The Providence women’s team finished second, 1 point behind the overall winner, Georgetown. The Connecticut team finished third with 73 points.

On the men’s side, Michael Morgan (Providence) finished 7. The Providence men’s team finished in fourth place.
