The historic cross-country course at Franklin Park once more served as the venue for a thrilling and exciting event: the Brooks Northeast XC Championships.
Youth Races (3K)
9–12 Boys & Girls: Competitive groups with significant club participation; multiple athletes finished in under 12 minutes.
Boys & Girls 13–14: Impressive performances all around, as top finishers completed the course in under 12 minutes, highlighting the region's talent.
Freshman/Sophomore Races (5K)
Boys: The race started intensely, with the winner finishing in just over 16 minutes.
Girls: A strategic race, with the leading group splitting up after Bear Cage Hill; finishing time 19:44.00.
Championship Races (5K)
Marty Lewis Championship (Boys, Juniors/Seniors): Top-tier performances, featuring a winner completing the course in under 15 minutes.
Phil Zodda Championship (Girls, Juniors/Seniors): A strong push in the first kilometer secured the win; finishing time was 16:47.3.
Attendance was strong, with teams from across New England and the Northeast.
