Men's 1500
Foster Malleck sets a new Canadian National Record in the 1500 by running a time of 3:33.39 at the 2026 Saucony Battle For Boston. Aaron Ahl set the previous record (3:34.98) just a week earlier in Boston.
The time would be his second-fastest ever both indoors and outdoors.
Malleck's performance was also significantly below the World Indoor Athletics Championships qualifying standard of 3:36.00, making it the 12th-fastest indoor time globally this year.

Women's 800M
Maeve O'Neill, a junior at Providence College, won her heat and secured third place overall in the 800 meters with a time of 2:00.33, surpassing her previous indoor program record of 2:01.96. This achievement ranks as the ninth-fastest time in NCAA indoor history. Additionally, her performance established a new Irish senior indoor record for the 800 meters and met the qualifying standard for the World Championships.
Heather MacLean ran the fastest time of the day, winning her heat in 1:59.59.
