Gut Check Adventure Triathlon

New England Endurance Events hosted the Gut Check Adventure Triathlon on September 27, 2025, at Nickerson State Park in Brewster, MA. This triathlon is uniquely crafted to stand apart from traditional triathlons.

The race begins with a run, then a bike followed by a swim then another run. Rinse and repeat.

The intriguing aspect of the Gut Check Triathlon is that athletes receive the course directions only 15 minutes before the race starts. This absence of prior course information compels participants to rely on their navigation skills as they race through the forest.

Maxwell Christopher secured the overall first place and was the first male to complete the race, while Sara Jackson was the first female to finish.
