The inaugural Mattapan Unity 5K Fete was held August 9, 2025 at the Ryan Playground in Mattapan, MA. The event successfully brought together residents, local businesses, and city officials in a celebration of health, wellness, and unity.
The Mattapan Unity 5K Fete was run by the husband/wife team of Robert Innis and Ruth Georges-Innis. They were able to partner with the Cummins Highway Neighborhood Association, Greater Mattapan Neighborhood Council and Mattapan Food and Fitness Coalition.
