The 2025 Title 9 Women’s Triathlon began and ended under tough late-summer conditions, as athletes braved cold rain, slick roads, and a steady wind at Hopkinton State Park. What might have been a perfect early-fall race day instead became a true test of resilience — and a showcase of determination from women of all ages and experience levels.
The Title 9 Women's Triathlon is a part of the USA Triathlon's Women's Series which spans the multisport season and features 37 women's-focused events across the country. In the USA Triathlon Women's Series, the Title 9 Women's Triathlon is the sole event held in New England during the Fall triathlon season.
Cold, wet, and unforgettable: the 2025 Title 9 Triathlon wasn’t defined by the rain but by the athletes who refused to be slowed by it. From first-timers to veterans, every finisher carried the proof of resilience across the line — soaked to the skin, but most were smiling all the same.
