Lowell, MA The 2025 Baystate Marathon and Half Marathon was held on October 19, 2025 in Lowell, MA. The Marathon is run by the Greater Lowell Road Runners and is run by volunteers. Dorchester, MA The 43rd annual Boston Firefighters Memorial Road Race took place on October 12, 2025, in Dorchester, MA. Despite the cloudy skies, the rain stayed away for the 5K and 10K races. More than 700 runners and walkers participated in the road races that benefit the brave men and women of the Boston Fire Department.
