All day sunshine at the Baystate Marathon

Under a cold start, nearly 2,500 runners lined up for the Baystate Marathon and Half Marathon in Lowell, MA on October 18, 2026. The marathon and half marathon participants line up and start at the same time, with marathoners occupying one half of the street and the half marathon athletes starting on the other side. A proper median separates the athletes, for a few blocks at least.
