Veterans honored at the DAV 5K Boston

Boston, MA

The DAV 5K Boston run was held November 8, 2025 at Castle Island in South Boston. The Run to Honor Veterans is intended to honor veterans and raise awareness of the issues facing our ill and injured veterans. (DAV helps more than one million veterans each year in positive, life-changing ways, at no cost to them. From the Berkshires to Provincetown, the DAV Department of Massachusetts supports our local veterans everyday with our programs and services.)

Nearly 1,000 runners took part in the 5K run, while over 120 people joined the 1 Mile walk.

Mia Rent (1517) was the first female competitor to finish at the DAV 5K Boston Run to Honor Veterans at Castle Island, South Boston, MA on November 8, 2025.

Abby Artabane (1522) finished in second in 17:58.2 at the DAV 5K Boston Run to Honor Veterans at Castle Island, South Boston, MA on November 8, 2025.

Ieva MacInnes finishes third among women at the DAV 5K Boston Run to Honor Veterans at Castle Island, South Boston, MA on November 8, 2025.

Owen Comiskey (336) was the first male finisher at the DAV 5K Boston Run to Honor Veterans at Castle Island, South Boston, MA on November 8, 2025.

Milo Wilk finished second among men at the DAV 5K Boston Run to Honor Veterans at Castle Island, South Boston, MA on November 8, 2025.

Adrian Seeger was the third place finisher at the DAV 5K Boston Run to Honor Veterans at Castle Island, South Boston, MA on November 8, 2025.
