Upcoming events this weekend

This will be another busy (photographic) weekend with a couple of upcoming and overlapping events.

We are fortunate to have such a gluttony of indoor track meets and events in Boston, with more running, jumping and throwing. I plan to be in some of the places, creating oversaturated images of your performances.

The MSTCA hosts the two day Speed Classic at The Reggie Lewis Track & Athletic Center. Hurdles and dashes, 300M and 600M races will be included. They'll be spinning in the circle with the weight throw and jumping from the elevated runway (long jump.) At this year's event, schools will not be divided by school size.

At the TRACK at New Balance, Trials of Miles Racing hosts the Beantown Winter Classic, a two-day invitational style, high school track meet for athletes in Grades 9-12...[with] opportunities for all ability levels — from first time competitors to those looking for national qualifiers."
