The women's teams from Boston College and Providence College secured first and second place respectively at the NCAA DI Northeast Regional Cross Country Championships. Boston College achieved victory with a score of 60 points, earning an automatic qualifying spot for the National championship. Meanwhile, the Providence College women's team finished in second place, securing the other automatic qualifying position from the region.
The Army West Point and Syracuse teams finished in third and fourth place, respectively. They must wait to find out if they will be selected for one of the 14 at-large berths. The NCAA committee selects the at-large teams using a system that evaluates head-to-head meets.

During the 2025 NCAA Division I Northeast Regional Men’s Cross Country Championship in Hopkinton, NH, Syracuse clinched the team title with an impressive display, placing several runners in the top 15 to earn their automatic qualification for nationals. Iona finished in second place, maintaining its history of strong performances at regionals.
Despite a strong season and hopes of breaking into the top two, Harvard finished outside the automatic qualifying range. Their depth wasn’t enough to match Syracuse’s dominance or Iona’s consistency. Harvard will now have to rely on the at-large selection process, which considers season-long performances and head-to-head results. While they remain in contention, their regional finish weakened their case.
